B.Kin., CSCS, FMS
I grew up as a multisport athlete, excelling in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. My athletic journey took a significant turn after high school when I discovered a passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, in which I have been competing since 2011 and have earned a black belt.
I pursued higher education at Capilano University and the University of British Columbia, earning a degree in Kinesiology. I began my career in the rehabilitation industry, where I worked for several years, honing my skills and knowledge. My journey then led me to become a certified strength and conditioning coach, obtaining the prestigious CSCS certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
In 2021, I became an owner at Kraken Fitness, which expanded my ability to work with a broader range of clients and share my expertise with my training team. With a deep understanding of traditional strength and conditioning protocols and a keen eye for sport-specific performance and biomechanics, I have made a significant impact in the athletic community. I have worked with a diverse range of athletes and Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, helping them achieve their desired body composition, performance goals, and enhance their physical capabilities.
Through my extensive experience and dedication, I continue to inspire and guide my clients, leveraging my background in kinesiology and my passion for sports to deliver exceptional coaching and support.
