I haven't always been one to chase my goals. There was a long period in my life where I yearned to achieve more, craved to be better, but I didn't know how to start, so I didn't. But being a natural go-getter, having childhood memories of me leading competitions and being the strongest kid around me, I know I could achieve more. So I started training. First my mind, to allow for positive thoughts to overrule negative ones, then my body.

Over the past two years I started from a beginner powerlifter to placing second in the 60kg Women's Raw Class at the June 2018 CPL BC Bash.

I'm here to help you identify your goals, and make a plan to crush them. If you know there is more strength, courage, determination inside you, work with me and we'll release that beast.

I currently play professional football with the Canadian Football League. I am the running back for the Calgary Stampeders. I’m known to have fantastic hair when I hit the field. I am a motivated individual who loves putting in the work to get to where I want to go. My success is routed in my strong work ethic and competitive spirit routed in sportsmanship!

I’ve been an athlete for most of my life. Football, often called game of inches, players need to work together to execute exact footwork and flawless timing to gain an edge. I love how we are only as strong as our weakest link, so the only way to succeed is to elevate everyone. This is why I love football. It’s really pushed me to my capacity as a person and athletic.

I’ve coached several sports teams with a focus on safety and teamwork. I enjoy preparing high school students and athletes to taking that leap into the professional arena. It’s not always this serious. I also love bringing people together through small or medium sized group classes. I want people to enjoy working out so I always try to make things fun as well. I have a passion for helping people from all walks of life move better.

I offer personal training, small group, athletic, conditioning, and combine training. Let’s get started today!

There’s nothing I love more than a good challenge even if it’s the hardest thing I’ll have to do. I’m that person that will keep failing until I get back up and stay up. I’ve challenged myself in all elements of my life. My health was the hardest one to work through and still continues to be, which is why I decided to walk the path as a coach.

My passion for fitness began at a young age when I did competitive ballet with Goh Ballet Academy until I was 15 years old. The sport and my environment created challenges in my adolescent years that lead to severe body image and self esteem issues. It later created different challenges with my mindset about going to the gym and how I viewed food. I created stories about how I was too busy, why I couldn’t work out or why I didn’t eat better (yes, sometimes it comes back up).

It's been an on and off challenge and I can relate 100% if you also struggle with this too. I know first hand how hard it feels. I’ve been able to work through my limiting beliefs through consistently weight training and working on my nutrition with the right support team. My support team is the Kraken community which is how I ended up here today. It brings me joy when I help others overcome their own struggles.

I now have the tools to help you overcome these challenges. I will get you started in the gym and provide you the tools to overcome the mental struggles that come with it. We all need support and I’m excited to help you overcome those barriers!

I am currently a competitive weightlifter and 2018 BCWA f90 provincial champion. I love this sport because it demands a high level of both mental and physical strength and there is always room to be better.

My path to becoming a weightlifter and personal trainer was long and quite indirect. When I was younger I was involved in competitive swim clubs and soccer teams until I reached my late teens. Nearing the end of high school, I stopped most extra curricular activites and lost my drive to be active, mostly because that was a period of immense change for me and because I had stared to experience chronic knee pain and multiple shoulder, hip, and knee dislocations. It was during this time that I found out that I am hypermobile in many of my major joints, and that my only option to be pain free and healthy was to strengthen all the muscles that supported my joints.

From then on, I began to immerse myself in all things movement related which lead me to get a diploma in human kinetics. At this point I has also been teaching swimming lessons for multiple years, and I had discovered that I really enjoyed teaching other people new and meaningful skills. I became a personal trainer because I am passionate about moving well and using that movement to find and grow your strength and live a healthy life. I am excited to share that passion with others to help them meet whatever goals they have their sights set on.

JOSKO KRAKEN

I have been coaching since I was 16 years old. I first started out as a swimming instructor for the City of Vancouver and continued coaching swimming for 7 years. In 2015 I opened Kraken Training and have seen tremendous growth since then.

I have been obsessed with self development since I was 20 years old. Since then I've read hundreds of books on the topic and have helped hundreds of people become the ultimate versions of themselves. I love helping people battle their demons and push them to change their habits.

My style of training is a mix of bodybuilding and powerlifitng which I call "powerbuilding." We pack on strength and size, all while cutting fat. With my method, I'm happy to report a 100% success rate with my clients. And because of the success rate, Kraken Training holds a high retention rate and high customer satisfaction.

I’ve always been fascinated by the human body’s ability to adapt to stress and to repair itself. This began my interest in studying medicine to become a doctor. However during those years, I realized that I didn’t want to just prescribe medicine to help fix people’s problem. I wanted to fix the root of people’s problems so that they can live their best versions of themselves. Which is how I ended up being a coach.


Through my 4 years of experience training and coaching clients, I’ve come to learn that fitness plays a huge factor in improving not only their physical health but also their emotional and mental health.
I began my own journey where I had to push myself mentally and physically to transform my own body to gain the mass I wanted. I was a very lean individual.
