Bob decided it was finally time for a change while on a trip to Thailand. It was a day of fun in the sun and along with his crew they were taking turns diving into the ocean. Unbeknownst to Bob, a friend had been filming throughout the day gathering footage to create an epic video. Later that day, the friends all sat around to
watch the video.
During the scene Bob was in, the video was played back in slow-motion and much to his dismay it was not fun to watch. The dive itself was fine but much worse than that was the way his belly and chest were bouncing around uncontrollably. He knew he was out of shape but didn’t realize to what extent until seeing himself on video. He insisted the footage be removed so that he could have a chance to redeem himself the following year.
At this point in his life he weighed 192lbs and had adopted an extremely unhealthy diet. He knew it was time for a change and with advice from a friend decided to peruse weight lifting as a means to get fit. That’s when he contacted Kraken Training and began his
weight loss journey.
Determined to see results, Bob started training twice a week with Kraken Training and twice a week on his own. On top of this he learned to meal prep and watch his calorie intake which collectively helped to accelerate results.
The training program we chose for Bob was a power-building approach designed to build muscle and shed fat. By utilizing the big three exercises (squat, bench, deadlift) along with other movements his was not only able to lose a significant amount of stubborn belly fat but he was also able to show great progress in muscle tone. A real success story, Bob was able to see rapid results fueling his confidence and preparing him well for the next time he’s in a diving video!
Despite having a few business trips throughout the duration of the program he still saw amazing results over six months.
He dropped over 7mm of skin folds on his belly area, which is a massive difference. And lost 5% in body fat!
What's interesting about the chart is his arms got almost a full inch bigger despite having lost so much weight. This means that he was indeed gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time!
She went on to squat 225lbs, deadlift 235lbs and bench press 105lbs. She lost 15lbs, putting her at 114lbs bodyweight, which means that she squatted 2x her bodyweight!
